Notes for the Horse and Pony Classes
NB. A rider must not have attained the maximum age stipulated in a class, before 1st January this year.
Advance entries only. Entries close 12th July. Sorry, no entries after this date or on the day.
An Equine Passport, containing an up-to-date vaccination record, must accompany every horse and pony attending the Show. It is mandatory that all horses and ponies are fully vaccinated against Equine Flu where a valid vaccination protocol needs to have been followed. Random checks by officers of the Show may be made at any time during the Show; any horse or pony without a valid vaccination protocol or owner/exhibitor unable to produce a valid passport will lead to immediate eviction of that horse or pony from the showground. Foals will not be expected to have commenced their primary course of influenza vaccinations before 5 months of age.
