Judging to commence at 1 p.m. prompt.
All entries in this section will be taken from 10 a.m. at the dog show ring (Ring 5).
Entry fee £1.00, Rosettes will be awarded. Prizes 1st £5, 2nd, £3, 3rd £1
Burgess Supadog Food will be presented by Burgess Pet Care to the winners of all classes.
Prize money for Classes 1, 2 & 3 kindly donated by Overbrook Caravan Park and Station House Holiday Cottages.
Obedience Classes
Please note that entry to more than one obedience class is prohibited
Judge: T.B.C.
Class 1. Novice Obedience Class (for dogs and handlers never having competed in any open obedience show or working trial)
- Demonstrate and Sit.
- Demonstrate a Down
- Heel on a Lead
- Recall from Sit
Class 2. Intermediate Obedience Class
- Demonstrate Sit-Down-Stand-Down-Stand
- Heel Free
- Recall from Down
- Sit for one minute (Handlers may face their dog if they wish)
Class 3. Advanced Obedience Class
- Recall from sit
- Heel Free
- Recall from a Down
- Retrieve a Tory (toy provided)
- Down for one minute (Handlers must turn away from their dog)
Novelty Classes
Group A: Judging to commence at 1.45 p.m.
Class 4 Prettiest Bitch
Class 5 Most Handsome Dog
Class 6 Cutest Puppy, 6 – 12 months Old)
Group B: Judging to follow Group A
Class 7 Dog most like its owner
Class 8 Rescue Dog
Class 9 Veteran Dog (over 6 years)
Class 10 Best Child Handler
Special Classes
Judging to commence at 3 30 p.m.
Class 11 Labrador
Class 12 Puppy. 6-12 months old
Class 13 Sporting (Hounds, Gundogs, Terriers, Spaniels)
Class 14 Non-Sporting (Working, Utility, Toys).
Class 15 Judges favourite dog (First Prize Winners from classes 11,12,13 & 14 only)
